My new book is here!!
The Honesty of Wings is the first book of The Corvid Legacy series, and I am so excited it’s finally here!
I can’t wait for you to explore the world of Alternia and meet Rya, Bray, and Vale! I’ve been writing and revising this book for a few years (the pandemic really slowed me down!), and am so happy to see it in the world!
Speaking of worlds, let’s talk Alternia. Think New York City with gargoyles, Long Island with merrow, upstate with human-raven hybrids, gold-covered villages (and people!), and a mysterious forest in which a dangerous realm resides. Add a layer of steampunk, a splash of ballet, and a sprinkle of magic. Basically, I took the shape and bones of New York State and added a healthy dose of fantasy.
I have to say, it’s a lot of fun taking something familiar and pulling from it to create an alternative version. I grew up in New York, so it holds a special place in my heart, and for a long time I’ve been wanting to build a story upon it. You might recognize some places and even some names that to me sounded magical enough to keep in a fantasy version. I would love to hear your thoughts on the world of Alternia!
And I'd very much appreciate it if you would please take a moment to leave a review on your purchase site and/or on Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6....
