Cody B. Stewart was born in the Adirondacks, in Upstate New York. His love of stories began in those mountains as he vanquished trolls, fought in the American Revolution and discovered his latent mutant powers. Stories have continued to consume his life, but he now plucks them out of his head and puts them down on paper in the form of novels and comic books.

He left the Adirondacks to grow into a man, did so, and has since returned with a wonderfully supportive wife and two sons.

I actually have a book that just released last week. It's called Rex. It's a Middle Grade novel about a boy who finds a dinosaur and makes it his pet because his mom won't let him have a dog. So, it's way lighter than Shade, but super fun.

I'm also working on a novella that's more in tone with Shade. A sci-fi story called The Slip about a family lost in another dimension. It's dark and there's aliens and lasers and parallel universes. A lot of action. It'll be a backer reward for a Kickstarter campaign I'll be running soon to launch a comic book set in the same story universe.

I'm working on expanding the Shade universe as well. I love the story, and am glad you did too.
