I’m a psychotherapist and an author although the books that I write aren’t case studies or classroom texts. I write for adult audiences that have imagination but having a healthy dose of child-like wonder inside will also help along with the ability to feel. My books are often tense, thrilling and sometimes horrific.I believe those are elements of a good story. Many writers from the realms of music and literature have influenced my writing. From the world of music, writers such as John Lennon and Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, John Phillips, Neil Young, Paul Simon and Carly Simon were helpful in learning “economy of words” and “range of emotion.” Twilight Zone and Star Trek were television influences.
