The thirteenth child of a World War II veteran, Patch was born in
St. Louis, Missouri in 1973 and was raised in the St. Louis area. Patch grew up studying military and American history with aspirations of joining the Army. Unfortunately, at the age of sixteen, he suffered an injury to his right eye changing the course of his life forever. Some time later, he married his high school sweetheart who blessed him with a wonderful child. Patch and his family still reside in St. Louis, Missouri.
