Hi Liz,
It's always difficult to make comparisons, but let's just say there are many authors whom I'd be delighted to be compared to. The subject matter of Finding Heather might be considered similar to Elizabeth Berg's novel, The Year of Pleasures, dealing with a young widow rebuilding her life after losing her husband and the journey of self discovery that results.

As regards my inspirations, without doubt Mary Wesley, Joanna Trollope, Lily Prior, Rosamunde Pilcher and Elizabeth Berg are among the many authors I admire.

Thanks for your questions!

Can read, but can't bake!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I could read for Britain but...I'm a rotten baker. I come from a line of great bakers too, which makes it all the more disappointing. However, despite my frequent flops, I keep trying.

When I'm writing, I occasionally get a craving for something crunchy to have with one of my numerous cups of tea. The other day I was looking for an almond biscuit recipe a Read more of this blog post »

"Well written

The author captured so many emotions of the characters, without being "sappy". Great words of advice were shared for people moving on from loss of loved ones.
