ARCs Are Out!
Sooooo, I sent out ARCs for Ironic this morning. My deepest thanks to the bloggers and fans of my work who agreed to be my first line of defense. I appreciate you all so much!!! You make my heart sing! When you write a story, you hope that people "get you." There aren't enough hours in a day to get it all done, but I manage. I have so many more stories to tell but, LOL because it takes a crapload of time to write full-length novels, I came up with the idea to write short stories to keep readers sated. Here's hoping you enjoy my kinky warped mind. ;-)
Ironic will be coming to an e-book retailer near you THIS FRIDAY! Don't forget to add it to your TBR pile.

Preliminary Feedback Is In!
So, preliminary feedback on Entwined in starting to trickle in from ARC readers. I KNEW this story would be a mixed bag of WTF Harper, LOL. The premise is a little more hmm, raunchy than previous installments but hey, when I get an idea in my head I run with it. That's the beauty of writing. An idea pops into my head and rather than me worrying about how it might be deemed offensive or disgusting or too much, I just roll with it. Everyone has their definition of erotica. In my version, it's always about the chemistry between the main characters because just like in real life, chemistry determines what makes the sex hot as hell. If there's no connection it's just wet body parts being shoved into orifices (romantic image, right? LOL)
I've already come to terms with the fact that Entwined and the next installment of the Kinky Connect Chronicles will likely turn off a sect of my readership. They'll bypass the stories because threesomes and gay romance just aren't their thing. That's cool! I swearrrrrrrrrrrrr it's cool. I never got into this author gig to make money. I started writing stories because I wanted to see a different kind of romance represented. People who have kinky streaks finding love... in unique ways. Diverse couples finding love because mainstream contemporary romance doesn't focus on diversity or kink.
Honestly, I'm just grateful to my ARC readers for having the guts to tell me whether they love or hate something I write. They tell me how it is, always. This time around, a lot of new people are reading my work and for the first time since I published The Sweetest Taboo, I'm a bit anxious. Excited as holy hell but also a wee bit anxious.
A few months back when I released Renewed, Shurrn of the Smutsonian (where are you Shurrn? I miss you) asked me where did I see the Kinky Connect Chronicles series going.
I don't see this as a series lasting a very long time, but I do see it as a series that will introduce fetishes and types of sex people may not be used to reading. Because why not? WHYYYYYY NOTTTTTTT?
So, if you've pre-order Entwined, or you're waiting for release day to purchase it, I can't wait to read your thoughts. If you love it or hate it, drop me a line. Send me an email if you're not the reviewing type. I'd love to know what you thought. Authors ALWAYS want to know what readers think. Always.
Oh, and if you're wondering when the heck my next full-length novel will be released.
*in my Jon Snow voice * Winter is coming...
My NaNoWriMo project is to get that behemoth done.
