Hey, Helle, thanks and god jül!
I'm sorry about your mom. I've never done the organic thing but have wondered if there is something to it.I don't think I knew any hippies, we lived outside the city not a place hippies would hang out.
FB, tumblr, twitter, google+ and to some degree GR can take up your day if your not careful. I'm on FB more, a lot of my friends moved over there.
Naw, she's no longer with us but she was into alternative medicine and organic foods. We're not that far apart in age, I remember knowing real hippies.
I've felt the same way, although I hate FB. I like tumblr a great deal more. But it's the same, a great post will come along and "like" isn't always appropriate.
I know of Sunset but I've never read it so I can't help you with the snarky. Is your mom a one-time hippie? LolI'll see if I can find it at one of the book/magazine stores around here.
I miss the 'Like' button FB has I wish GR had one for things other than reviews.
Hey Averin! I loved your message, it made me laugh. You wanted to know if I was a one-time hippie? Age wise I was at the tail end of that era and missed all the fun but mentally I'll always be part hippie.
I'd love to read that article.
Thank you so much for the friendship. I'll be seeing you around the Complaints Dept and other places. :-)

Is it insufferable smugness to read a one-starred review of a beloved book and note the reviewer used alright instead of all right?
