Philly is having a major moment as beer becomes big business, and there’s a web of passionate people who are moving the industry forward in exciting ways. I asked a few leaders in Philly’s beer scene to look into their crystal balls for a piece on Thrillist. I expected updates on flavors and styles (sours, low-ABV beers and IPAs are hot), and to my delight, I was able to delve into political, economic, and environmental trends too. It was a fun piece to write!
