Thank you so much, Ashley, you just made my day. I'm so thrilled that you enjoy Vervain as much as I do and I hope I can keep her entertaining you. I'm working on the next Twilight Court book now but I keep everyone up to date with my newsletter and website. Have you signed up yet? You get a little gift when you do. Here's the link in case you haven't: http://google.us11.list-manage.com/su...
and my website is AmySumida.com I have detailed character descriptions and place descriptions on there. I've been working on my digital art skills so they're slowly improving. :)
Thank you again for taking the time to brighten my day,
Amy
I actually just saw it on fb n signed up, and am freaking out over the gift. So fun, thank you so much! Im trying to quickly wrap things up for the night right now so i can properly check out your website. Lol i truly do love these books and characters prob more than is normal. there are a few books ive read i find myself always comparing all others to, seeking out new ones that are similar, that can make me forget im reading n feel like im actually experiencing it. that i read again n again, when i cant find what im looking for and Godhunter is honestly number one of that list. Its got everything i love, especially mythology and the very best take on it all . Its way harder than i expected to find more books like it.as in ive found Zero :( So i just delve back in with Vervain n it Never gets old. Im interested if you have any books you love , hopefully with mythology, the fae youd recommend?
Thank you so much, it sounds trite but it really does mean the world to me that you think so highly of my books that they're your go to favorites. I have books like that too and to think that my books are like that for you is such an awesome feeling. I write in first person because I want people to become Vervain when they read my stories and I'm so thrilled that it's exactly like that for you! And thank you for posting that link about the free days, I appreciate that too.Now as far as mythology and a good read, that's tough. I love Laurell Hamilton's Merry Gentry series for both mythology and the fae but she really gets into the sex heavily and she's beginning to lose the story, still her first books were really good. Then there's Kim Harrison's witch series, I think Dead Witch Walking is the first, she's really funny and has fairies in there too. One of my most favorite authors though writes paranormal with a little mythology, her name is Lilith St. Crow and she did a series called Dante Valentine that's one of my favorites. It's a bit gritty and dark but it's one of those books that stayed with me and made me wish she had wrote more. Another good fae series is the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire, she has a character in her books who sort of inspired me to create Roarke. I love the amount of research she did and her take on the fae. And if you ever want to deviate from the paranormal romance and just read a funny SciFi book, Terry Pratchett's Discworld series is one of my all time favs. He's amazingly humorous and you can start with any book in the series and you'll be fine. One of my favorites is Carpe Jugulum which is a sort of vampire book and there's witches too. And now I've gone on way too long because you've got me writing about my favorite topic lol. Thank you again, I might print out this page and frame it, that's how happy your message has made me :)
And by the way, I love your profile pic, I've always wanted that color combination; red hair with porcelain skin, it's gorgeous.

And the first book in the series is Working for the Devil.
