I can't vote so answers are c and b. I follow you on Fb and get your newsletter. I enjoy both of those

The problem is that Facebook shows my posts to a tiny portion of my reading audience (I have almost 75,000 fans on Facebook and they frequently show my posts to less than 250…and it's dropping.) In addition, a lot of Goodreads people don't bother with Facebook. So I'm trying to get in contact with them. Do you have other ideas? I'm listening!

I'm not sure there won't be repeats, but as I said to GF, Facebook is miserable about showing my posts to readers (I have almost 75,000 fans on Facebook and they frequently show my posts to less than 250…and it's dropping.) So I'm seeking ways to touch base with my Goodreads readers. If you have other suggestions, I'm listening.
A and C I like hearing your thoughts, seeing your pictures and by all means when you have something to say - say it.
I follow you on FB and your newsletter. A & C I' m a collector of your books in all gendre. Love them all!

the problem is that i spend so much time on social media that another "choice" is just not possible. i do go to your fb page and look at all your posts if i get something in my daily stream from you(every day). i love your books and the additional info you put out in blurbs. try a blog and cut down on fb????????
I am happy to hear from you in whatever format you choose and as often as you choose. I am not always able to go online once I come home from work - meaning able to bear looking at the computer screen again - so I will catch you when I can. (^__^)Thank you for asking!
Once a week is great if it is something on your upcoming books. I don't as a rule read too many blogs. But with FB changing how I many people's posts I can see that may be the new way to go.
I'm admittedly not great on goodreads, trying to get better. I say C - give it a try and see how it goes. And C - whenever you have something to say. I generally enjoy a more conversational interaction than a long post. FB is not playing nice with most authors, so trying something new is worth it. The people who get it on FB might not be the same ones on GR anyway and vice versa.
I always enjoy your newsletters and I believe I am getting most of your FB posts, so I am voting A & B.
Definitely A and C. I love hearing about what you have going on! Doesn't matter where it is! You always make it fun and interesting. Im always checking your Facebook and always open your newsletter
I say A and B. I don't have a Facebook account and don't plan on it, but I do check Goodreads once a day.
I get a weekly update from Goodreads of author posts. Some are links to their blogs which i dont mind
I'd be interested in reading what you have to say when you feel the need to say it! Preferably on Goodreads.
I like quick little info I get the newsletter which I thoroughly enjoyed reading so that I can keep up-to-date on your latest books but little tidbits here and there on Facebook or Goodreads keeps me more in tune on what's going on
I struggle with goodreads and how to use it but I think I just need to buckle down and spend a good hour looking at it or check out some how to videos on it. I have FB but you are right that they don't show all of your posts. I don't like how they get to decide which posts make my stream. I love your news letters. I'll take any information from you in any form I can :) I love all your books. You have an amazing imagination and an incredible gift. Thank you for sharing it with us!

After hours, if I have leisure time, it's TV, reading, and if the family is visiting, games. No computer. No, no, no! :)
Joanne wrote: "I get a weekly update from Goodreads of author posts. Some are links to their blogs which i dont mind"I never thought of the links in the GR newsletter. Yes, that works, bc you can follow up if you're interested. Or not. Your choice. Thank you!

Here I've got something in common with everyone!

And yes on Goodreads people not being on Facebook. That's why I think this might be an approach to try. Thank you for the input!

I check my home page. From there I can find/do just about everything I need. I can keep up with what friends are reading, update my status, review what I have read and get messages from authors, like you, that I "follow" that there is a new blog post. It is really the only form of "social media" that I use. If I want to know what friends are up to I pick up a phone and I am better off not knowing what my adult children are up too :)

Thank you! Very smart on social media. It is a time suck. (I meant time sink but I think that was a Freudian slip. :) ) I hear you on phoning friends and on not knowing what the kids are up to. It saves a lot of wear and tear on the nerves.
I follow you on Facebook. That being said, I read your comments on Goodreads also. I use Goodreads to keep track of books I have read and want to read, and I also read other's editorials and blogs. I ALWAYS see your posts in Goodreads, but not always in Facebook. I also sometimes check your own website. I guess what I'd like is short comments and links to new items on your website so you cue me to check for it on your website in case I didn't happen to do that for a while...
The survey doesn't allow me to vote, so the answer to the first question is A, and to the second is B.

I can definitely do that. Will other Goodreads readers feel cheated if I post half a blog with a link? Phooey. I think the best thing to do based on the variety of comments is to try a little over everything and see what flies. :) Thank you!
