My new book, a romantic mystery, is set on the island of Inis Mór, a place the Irish people call 'Irish Ireland'. There are less than a thousand people living on Inis Mór for the past 2,000 years and the island is a treasure trove of history, legend, folk songs, mythical tales, superstition and the 'Auld ways'. The first language is Irish and as you arrive on the ferry at Kilronan you will be taking a giant step backwards into history. There is nothing false or contrived about Inis Mór, the way of life is unchanged for centuries, the sole exception to this being the tourists who come in the summertime. If you have a desire to experience what is perhaps the last remaining bastion of the ancient Celtic Kingdoms, visit Inis Mór. you will not be disappointed.
