Poet, Kay Gardner

Poetry by Kay Gardner on Amazon

Kay Gardner is a poet all the time, sometimes to the dismay of those around her who will become the object of the vacant stare she calls “there’s a poem in my head and i gotta get it out!” She has an ongoing poetry series at Channillo.com entitled “trees like paintbrushes,” and is working on an illustrated poetry collection, as well as continuing to write haiku and micropoetry.

She’s in love with words, her cats, really good coffee, and is a sucker for a well-crafted line. She’s also a bit of a grammar nazi, which serves her well in proofreading others’ works.

Aside from her books here, you can find Kay’s poetry in the anthologies, “If We Painted a Canvas,” “Poetry Without Borders,” and “Figure in the Mist;” on Spillwords, Scriggler, and Better Than Starbucks.
