My wish for all of you, my darklings, is for you to experience beautiful journeys. I hope you find trails and beaches and roads and companions filled with love and laughter and purpose. 
And books! I hope you never stop discovering stories and authors and characters to fall in love with.
There is no tragedy here. My own journey continues to amaze, and my life is overflowing with love and laughter as I help young people learn how to tell their stories. This is a path I will follow for awhile, and a path that, in the end, will likely change the nature of what I write.
