Wow...so funny. I thought I was the only 8 year old camped out in that one corner of the library, reading and re-reading every book about the Bermuda Triangle, reincarnation and near death experiences, Sasquatch, ghosts, etc. Sorry to hear about your writers, but it’s so cool that you’re able to pay homage to them in your own work. Still, it’s a bummer. When Judy Blume passes, I’m pretty sure I’ll need to take the day off from work. ;-)

Oh, man. I am not ready for a world that does not have Judy Blume in it.Thank you for the kind words. I just found a copy of Daniel Cohen's The Great Airship Mystery at the Last Bookstore in L.A. Looking forward to diving in again.
Right?! I’m just not going to think about it. Sue Grafton was hard enough, and I’ve only been reading her since my late teens. I can’t even contemplate the volume of Kleenex I’m going to need for Blume...As always, thanks for the good recommendations. I’ll check out Cohen and Steiger for my 8 year old niece (and myself). Looking forward to the next Cade book and the next John Smith book!
