Nothing that you read or watch will prepare you for what unfolds onscreen. It will change you. Multiple viewings will reveal new layers of meaning and lessons. So my suggestion is to just go to one of the online sites (kissasian, ondramanice, viki, dramacool, dramafever, viewasian, newsasiantv, etc. etc.) and start episode 1.

Noorilhuda Woke up to news of LSK (DH)'s suicide: Aggrieved to say the least. What a voice - put to such great use in My Ahjussi - and a fairly decent actor. Too bad. Prayers for his family, his excellent actress-wife and kids, etc. 

I wish he had the will, support and environment to live through this crisis: just like the lesson we all got by watching this classic:
