The business of war (and How much stupid the conspiracy theory really is)

Excerpted from The Jimmy Dore ShowMSNBC Panel On Syria with Jeffrey Sachs, professor of sustainable development and health policy at Columbia University,The original video can be watched here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_O2TR...IntroductionWhen we describe the actual events and the relations between the international players, we have to recognize that each country has 4 levels of power:1.      The individuals.2.      The officials (officers, ministers, governmental technocrats and so on…).3.      The central intelligence agencies (like the CIA, FBI, KGP and so on..)4.      The small circle on the top of the latter agencies, which make the most effective decisions. These small circles are almost responsible to most serious and effective decisions. They are also connected to the top power centers in the country like the key persons in army, Business media and so on…Of course, these 4 levels are overlapped and not completely separated. But in order to get the real explanation and judgement of the political and historical events, we need to differentiate them. This would allow us to understand the real mechanism of the international decision making in our time, away from the noise of dogmatic media explanation. When we say: “The American invaded Iraq”, or “The India suffered the colony and brutality of the Brits”, we are describing what happened exactly. This means that we would never reach correct conclusion or effective solutions. What happened in the both above examples is: The last top level of the decision making in United states, cooperated with their Iraqi similar counterparts took the decisions of invading Iraq. The American and Iraqi nations were victims of this decision. However, the top level of the actual Iraqi Pyramids don’t belong to the Iraqi nation here. They were part of the invasion. They are actually closer to the American top level against the Iraqi and American nations’ will and interests. The same can be said for the other example. Thus, when we talk about war, better to talk about Politicians-individuals relation more than X-Y countries relations. This is the first step to understand the modern political situation.Actually, the unrecognizing between these 4 levels is responsible to the greatest manipulation and misconception of our time

[1] For that, the manipulating media and politicians work to keep this mixing and keep the people away from the clear view of recognizing. By doing so, the dictators and populists distract the crowds from seeing the scene as it should be seen and reaching the right judgement based on logic process. It scares the politicians to let the crowd understand events this way as it would lead definitely to more awareness of corruption and drop of the dictators powers and populists’ popularity. Thus, they use their allies’ media to keep the problem in the paradigm: (We against the others), instead of (the individuals against the corrupted politicians).

[image error] Innovation was no longer left to chance once business minds realized how innovation could be life changing—it became difficult to sit and wait until the innovation “happens;” so innovations are tended to be ‘pushed.’ That implied investing billions of dollars in very long-term investments (up to decades) in an unknown and unclear result process, which many businessmen in the past and most people who are not in business can’t conceive of or believe in. Businesses such as the space industry or curing cancer and killing diseases can’t be entered into by just regular investment processes, small or short-term thinking. The mindset to invest billions of dollars in research for decades to produce unguaranteed products is not a shared belief among the general population because it is difficult to imagine. The huge investment didn’t stop at developing the products, the giant business magnets like Google or Facebook invested even more than these eight figures numbers in the consumers: understanding their tendencies and behaviors, then developing techniques to observe, control, change, or even “ create” new generations of customer behaviors and tendencies.

How much is the conspiracy theory really stupid?
You may not plan to start your business or earn your living in the same way; your ethics or your view of life may lead to another attitude. The important point here is: Just because we don’t carry the same mindset, or we are not willing to do the same, doesn’t mean that others won't, even if that is difficult to imagine.  Denying the existence of such business models and practices, or neglecting to understand them, doesn’t eliminate them, and doesn’t mean that they don’t exist. It only means that these companies will keep using those who refuse to understand or be aware of such business practices, fooling them and gaining the most profit out of them!

The term: “Conspiracy theory” became itself a conspiracy! Everybody has doubt about the surface story of the stream media would be accused of “conspiracy theory” believer. This is subtle way of underestimating. Well, every body has the right to investigate. Every unclarity or paradox should push us to investigate. And. When necessary, when we have enough indications, we all have the right to doubt  that there is some secret collusion somewhere, which the public don’t know about.
The huge size of business. If you are on a business (Politic is business) which its size reach up to Trillions, you wouldn’t hesitate to invest Milliards to guarantee staying on the top of it.
The average individual or businessman in the last century wouldn’t believe some facts about today’s businesses, such as the value of an investment that one single investor or organization might put into one single study to innovate unpredictable or unguaranteed products. It would be very difficult for the average individual to imagine the length of product cycles or business plans. For many others, if they were told some details about how giant businesses manage their products and what they might do to control their customers, they will conclude that the teller Exaggerates or just is influenced by some stuff of fiction or even “conspiracy theory.”
The most confusing part for the crowd lay in the fact that the average person doesn’t take their decision the same way.
And that what makes most of these crowd see every explanation about the actual events suspicious. When it differs from the simple story that the media tells. The literature used to call any explanation not meet the media story and built on some secret reasons: Conspiracy theory.
