Preparing to say goodbye...

Five years ago, I started a journey that I never expected to go on. I visited a little tourist attraction right on the Ohio River border between Kentucky and Illinois called Cave In Rock. Well, it changed my life forever.

Okay, maybe that's a little dramatic. However, for YEARS, I'd wanted to write a portal fantasy, but it had never really come to fruition. I'd toyed with time travel, Narnia-inspired stories, pretty much everything. And yet, when I went to Cave In Rock, everything just...clicked. An idea was born and I even stopped working on the epic fantasy I'd been writing for years and began writing about Anne's journey. Lo and behold, the "Harmony" saga came about.

In two days, "Prevailing Light: Harmony Book 4" goes live on Amazon.com. It's the final installment and it's been a very bittersweet ride for me. I'm excited to move on to different stories but I'm also sad to be out of the minds of Anne and Jason.

Today, I picked "Harmony" back up and began reading it with the intention of figuring out where I'm going to add bonus content. This November, I'm releasing a compilation edition of all four books, each with bonus content. I think it'll be a great way to say goodbye to the characters before moving on to a different world. I'm anticipating a lot of emotions as I reread the entire series. These characters mean a lot to me and I'm interested to watch their character development with fresh eyes.
