Sigh… Hello, Friends.

It’s been a while, I know.

I could give you hundreds of excuses of why I haven’t written in so long, but none of that matters…. I’m here, now, and so excited about what’s to come.

First of all, can we talk about the speed of life these days? Just yesterday, Blake started kindergarten, and today, he’s away at college. That really happened. AND there are days I don’t know whether to laugh because I made it through the trenches of motherhood… or cry because I made it through so fast. Everyone tells you when they’re babies, to savor those moments – E V E R Y O N E – to the point that you smile and nod, thinking they’ve gone off the deep end.

But, it’s true.

One day, they’re in Mini Mites, then boom, it’s senior night for high school hockey, and you have no recollection of how you got there. The best thing you can do is take endless pictures to remember those moments.
