Your flesh will try to run you over and this is why you must take charge of your emotions. Your flesh always tries to take everything to an extreme.

If you allow it to control you, it will carry you into spiritual destruction making you weak, powerless, and devoid of the desire or energy to pursue anything, let alone the high calling God has for your life and the flesh out of control even has the ability to separate you from a truly loving relationship with God, with your spouse, the body of Christ and a world that needed you God-given gifts.

The flesh will leave you believing you are spiritual when you are not, it will feed your emotions to believe you are walking with God when you are not! Your flesh will even speak to you in the name of God thinking your thought is of God and that it is God directing you when it was nothing but self-directing self.

When Satan works among God’s people, he takes advantage of their natural desires and tendencies and the things that are appealing to them.

People serve Satan when they seek their own and when they go against the will of God and the leading of the Spirit. If what you are doing, if what you are thinking if what you are acting like and saying do not align with the teachings of scripture you are deceived.

Never, never, never forget "Satan does often come as an angel of light with pleasant, flattering words and a smile on his face, making it is very difficult for believers not to be deceived but he can also come in the form of tormenting spirits such as sickness, mental illness, a spouse; a parent; a friend; or even a boss that beats you down with words and even worse things then this.

Yet no matter what form he comes in, he presses mercilessly toward his one goal, which is to lead people into destruction.
Jesus said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy!"

And to know this truth the 2nd part of this same verse in John 10:10 can and will set you free "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full!"
