Part of the hop is sharing our fave New Year's memory…calm down folks, it's gonna get sentimental up in here.

So, way back when, when Gia was much younger, she fell in love (awww) and got engaged.  *sniffle*

The thing about it is…Gia's SO was annoying and a dorkus. We went and bought the ring that day (together), but he wouldn't GIVE it to me.  Nope. Nada.  Of course, it gets worse… He took out the box and pretended it was a sort of puppet, making it "talk" to me.  "Gia, don't you want to wear me?"

Yes, I did.

"Well, none for you!"

Pfttt!

Never fear…I did eventually beat the ring from his cold, dead fingers.  (Kidding!)  But I did get it and don'tcha know I love sparklies?
