Day 10 - Meet Taeryn

For the ten days leading up to my February 1 release of TAERYN: THE AWAKENING, I will be sharing info about the characters, some trivia, and even a few surprises.
Countdown Day 10 - Meet Taeryn
Excerpt:
Taeryn Vega didn't become an actress for the fame and fortune, or for the glamor. It was therapeutic to get inside the heads of her characters, to delve into their psyches and figure out what made them tick. Acting meant she could be anybody but herself. When she was in character, she could forget she was a freak.
The therapists didn’t call her that, but other people did. Normal people didn’t have visions, if that’s even what it was. That single event brought her world crashing down. But it also led to this moment.
She looked up at the door of the soundstage, her insides squirming with nerves. Besides the excitement of being on a movie set, the leading actor would be none other than Tristan Kando. How many nights had she fallen asleep looking at his poster on her wall? She kept reminding herself to be professional. He was just another person, her coworker. But he had an electrifying charisma, and when he looked into the camera with those dimples and brilliant green eyes, it felt as if he was reading her soul.
It was too bad he had a reputation for being a womanizing jerk.
She pressed her shoulders back, inhaled to her lungs' capacity, and stepped inside the soundstage.
