Redemption Day. Feb. 17

Last week, on my blog post "Peace or No Peace", I talked about the dangers of not following God's direction.

Travis and I had a horrible Friday night, spending time, energy and money with very little (if no) reward.

So, I prayed for God to “redeem” my bad day.

I asked God that He'll give me do-over day, one that's much better, much more pleasant and one where Travis and I can have a good time. And God gave us that day the very next weekend.

And in that same week, due to a technical error, my paycheck from work was way smaller than it should have been and I was instantly stressed about money.

So, I prayed that God give me a “redemption” payday. A do-over. A payday that is much better, where I receive even more money to erase and ease the pain of the small paycheck.

And that week, checks came in the mail…money that I wasn’t even expecting along with the money from the technical error.

God can turn your sorrow to joy.

He will make sure your bad day is followed by a good day

He will turn your disappointment into a smile

He will make sure to open one door as He is closing another

He will give you a do-over to ease the pain.

He will see to it that your storm doesn't come without a rainbow

What do you need God to “do-over” in your life?

If you need prayer for anything, let me know. I would love to pray for you!
