Well…

So it’s been a long time since I updated everyone on what I was doing!

Not making excuses, but I’ve been very busy in life and that has put some of my work on writing on the back burner. I’m not saying the next few months won’t stay as absolutely busy as I’ve been, but I can say that I’m making a concerted effort to get back to writing!

It does help me, and it makes me happy and I need to make time for it. I can’t say how much I’m going to actually get done, but I can promise I will keep working to be better than I’ve been!

So what’s currently on the burners?

Right now, I’m really working on three different pieces.

The first is The Heart Wants. Some of you know that piece as I’ve been doing some partial chapters and releasing them. Right now, I might release the first part of that as it’s own stand alone novel with a second part that needs to be finished. It’s already well long enough and has a nice, natural break to it that would work. I have the rest of the events of it plotted out and the only work that needs done is putting the words to paper…

The second thing I’m working on is Vanilla, which I have to say, I really like and has been really well received. That one is a whole lot less complete. I have something of a rough idea of where I want it to go, but even I don’t know where it will end.

The final thing I’m working on is what I’m sure most of you will be happiest to hear about and that’s book four of the Falling series!

I don’t want to be overly ambitious, but I think I’ve gotten past a lot of what was causing my block with that series and I think I’ve figured out what those characters want to tell me. Yes, it meant scrapping about 30k in completed story that wasn’t going anywhere satisfying, but I have to say that I’m way happier with it than what I had previously written!
