All Books Build Bridges

There is something simple and wonderful and sensual about a book. You are most likely reading these words on a lighted screen, perhaps while your child is trying to grab hold of the tail of a dog or paint the hallway with chocolate milk.

A book is a refuge that smells of good pulpy-ness (if you've ever been downwind from a paper factory, you'll know what BAD pulpy-ness smells like).

As an author and illustrator for young people, I'm excited to be part of the massive generational undertaking of creating new worlds in books and artistic media, as well as the mental and emotional clarifying of our own.

We live in strange times. But they certainly are not the strangest times known to bipedal homo sapiens. The over-sized saber tooth tiger years without toilet paper were probably pretty strange. But I imagine they made us pretty resourceful either way.

Thank you for connecting with me here on Goodreads! I'm excited to share with you all the work that comes out and is fit to print, as well as some glimpses over my shoulder of the dreams in process. Cheers.
