I can see why Mac runs away from his life by accepting a training position in Afghanistan, since it would be hard to work through the loss of a little one, especially when you feel like you are the one at fault. I thought that Suzy did a wonderful job of bringing the story to life, with Mac and Sophie working through their grief and learning to move past the tragedy of losing their son.
