Between a Rock and a Hard Cave Woman

Hi everyone,

FINALLY I've gotten this short story together, and finished the cover, and it's being released on Amazon on November 15th.
Here's the link:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LNW7VFX/

For those of you who've (quite rightly) been a little worried about me, I'm doing a little better in terms of energy levels. Pay has been cut temporarily because of COVID-19, by one third. Or maybe by 2/3, if they've chopped the travel allowance as well, so there's that...

Fortunately, my wife and I are married in community of property (we were young and very idealistic once, long ago), so I can always rely on her support!

Be safe;
wear a mask, sanitize, keep your distance.

David

Connie Lacy Just pre-ordered. Can't wait to read it, David. Glad you're doing better. Sorry about the pay cut. (2020 sucks.) Hope things will improve before too long.

Thanks so much, Connie! As you know, it's just a short story, and I'm planning to make it available via KU soon, but you know how important a few sales and reviews are at launch.
The pay issue should be be temporary. Worst case, I think, two months. Trust you and your family are doing well?

Connie Lacy I know I'll enjoy it. And I'll definitely post a review. Glad the paycheck will return soon. Tough times for so many. We're hanging in there. No sickness. Only one son without an income, but he's got a temporary job calling for Biden.

Kathleen Garlock Looking forward to enjoying my copy!

I hope things improve for you very, very soon.

Can't wait for 2020 to end. Although it's probably apochryphal, the 'old chinese curse' about living in interesting times, seems to ring all too true these days.

Thank you, Kathy. 2020 - the year of the Rat's Ass for many of us, I think!

William Cook Just pre-ordered it, David. I've been out of the loop and hadn't heard about your illness. Wishing you a complete and speedy recovery. All the best to you and your family.

Michael Gardner 'Bout time. Even though I've read it twice, I've also ordered a copy.

David Rose My most critical, and therefore invaluable, beta reader!

To all of you, thank you for your support. I don't know how to tell you how much it means to me. But it's a lot.

David
