It’s this point in the process when I need a few reminders. I’m writing, I’m self-editing, and I’m rethinking every word, plot point, character, and life choice ever. Because that’s just how this works.

That’s probably enough for now. I really do love this one, and I can’t wait to share more soon. If you’re a writer, I highly recommend this exercise when you’re nearing the end of you work-in-progress. It feels rewarding in a way that’s hard to describe. Sort of a moment to pause and go, “Yep, I did this thing. And I still like it.”
