Weekly Update- May 14th
Weekly Update:
This week has been about the pathway of our pilgrimage, our abundant adoption, our affliction and endurance, and the fact that we, as a nation, are adrift in a stormy sea.
Through my research, I am following a new rabbit trail concerning sonic energy, sound, vibration, and frequency. The science is known as Cymatics and the potential is enormous. Through the scripture in Zephaniah 3:17, I am incorporating this research into my Gray Empire novel series. I began that incorporation in book one, The Practician, this week. I think this new plot element will add significant interest and suspense to the overall story. In the process of introducing it, I ran into a snag in chapters 25 and 26 where Rick experiences two visions in a row on the same day while investigating Castle St. Clair and the Rosslyn cemetery. I decided that was too much so I made some major revisions to the story and created v7.1.2. At the end of the week I have completed the final draft through chapter 28. Things are moving forward smoothly.
Among my recent Curiosities are Cymatics and its possible uses:
Cymatics Healing: The Healing Resonance of Sacred Spaces (subtle.energy)
My favorite quote from the week is:
“Work is worship. Work is meditation. Serve all without any idea of agency or expectation of fruits or reward. You will come to realize that Godly service to humanity is service to God.”
“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,”
Anonymous, & Colossians 3:17, 23
In life, Nancy and I took a drive through the Cape Canaveral National Seashore this week. We also visited the Manatees at Haulover Canal. It was terribly windy that day with gusts reaching gale force. There were lots of manatees, but little other wildlife on our tour.
On another day we took a tour of South Tropical Trail on Merritt Island following a delicious lunch with Joyce and Kaye, two of my wonderful Beta Readers. Unfortunately, that evening at home, I was afflicted with food poisoning from some iced tea which I suppose had been kept too long unrefrigerated. I spent a couple of hours in nausea and severe abdominal pain before heading to bed feeling sick, weak and drained. Even so, the week has ended well. I’m feeling much better and back up to speed today. I will be working hard in the coming week to make as much progress as I can in this final draft of The Practician. See you next week. In the meantime, please follow me on Goodreads, and on Facebook.
