It's been a minute

I'd had high hopes for this blog feature on GR but just never really used it. And I'm not going to kid myself and say I'll start now πŸ™ƒ. So I'll pop in every so often with microfiction spurts that I've written for one reason or another.

This one is particular means a bit more than others because the main character is going to get his own full-length story in the coming months : )

Faysal has always been the one to judge. The one to decide. But this... creature in front of him is claiming she knows his fate. As if the insignificant being would know such things.
For he is not one to be trifled with, no. Faysal has seen worlds come. And he has seen worlds go.
Yet he remains.
Persistent.
Inevitable.
Judgment.
And still, the clairvoyant in front of him has claimed that the one meant for only him, the one he will cherish for all time, was born this day.
