There are many books the have historical photographs taken in Washington State, but this book of photographs by Darius Kinsey is in a class of its own. The book was created by Dave Bohn and Rodolfo Petschek as a result of searching though thousands of photographs taken by Kinsey. The book is the third volume in their series of books showcasing his photographs. The first two volumes focus the men and equipment in logging operations while in this book he the subjects are steam locomotives and logging trains used by the timber industry. The print qualities of the photographs are excellent, and the large format (13" x 10") suite the subject mater perfectly.
