My Introduction to You All
Hello, everyone. I never really made a proper introduction to myself, so I'm doing that now. I want to give background on my latest novel, as well as myself in general.
For my latest book, "Black Magic," I found my inspiration from my own experiences in school. In fact, the name of the main character, Stephen Binkly, is a rewritten version of my own name. The book is about staying true to yourself, and when Stephen discovers a magical crystal that can grant any wish, he starts becoming someone he's not. He then realizes that he made meaningful connections with friends and a girl he likes by simply being himself. Everything he values didn't come from the magic crystal. If you haven't read the book, I really hope you would check it out! If it doesn't look that interesting to you, it would be greatly appreciated if you told your friends! Your family! Anyone you know! Because I hope to reach readers everywhere, and I would love your help spreading the word!
For my writing style, I have always written a certain way that I never see in other books. I have always loved writing graphic novels, or books with both comic and text. But, it seems like I have always done it differently than everyone else. I don't know why.
As for myself as an author, I was a born storyteller, and dreamer. I find inspiration through animated movies, because I love making fictional stories with deep emotional themes. Some of my favorites include Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and Sing 2. These two movies are rich in character, emotion, and high-stakes. These movies inspired my writing style, because to me, the visuals are just as important as the words. I have been writing ever since I was 7 years old, and I love what I do. I plan to continue, and I hope to make doing what I love a life-long career! So, support is really appreciated!
I'm going to attach a link to my book if you want to have a look. It's available on Amazon, and a free preview is attached:
Black Magic
Thanks again, and I hope you continue doing what YOU love!
