Despite its character link to the Eye of the Storm series, this novel is a separate entity from that series and does not refer to it in any depth. However, Blood Shadow is necessary to read to know how Laura and Roman ended up in Fathoms Deep, therefore this is referred to as “A Blood Shadow Novel”.
