Progress? Well, maybe not.
If you follow me on social media, you know that I am working on adapting the screenplay I wrote, The Witch's Descendant, into a romantic fantasy. The premise of the story is Amber,a young woman with magical powers passed down from her ancestral witches, mustlearn how her powers as a healer will define who she is. She goes to the AppalachianMountains in Kentucky to be trained by a healer witch. Along the way, she meetsand falls in love with Julian, a male witch of chaos, who in many ways, altershow her life turns out.
I love this story so well that I want to expand it into a three book series bringing in members of their families in different locales. The problem is that I can't seem to get the first book finished. I thought I was close on October 16. See photos below of my notes on the progress of book one. I was down to three notes, then I came up with more ideas. I'll get there, as long as my characters don't think of other things to do.
While I'm working on book 1 in the series, I keep thinking of more plot lines for books two and three and I haven't even started writing them yet. See photos below.
I'll be back at writing today, hopefully just writing and no more notes. Who am I kidding? Of course, I'll have more things for them to do. I came up with a new one while I was drinking my coffee this morning. Keep your fingers crossed for me to get this done. I really want to get it out into the world to share with others. Carol
