👀 Do book titles even matter?

Hey Passionistas,

If you’ve been riding with me for a while, you know I’m a sucker for a title with a theme.

🖤 All my Love Distilled books were Love In (something).

🎸 The Excess All Areas rockstars? Four-word song titles.

🔧 And my Outlaws? The (something) I (something). Every single time.

Because for me, the title is more than a way to identify the book. It’s a heartbeat. It's the first thing to give you a clue to the pulse of the story.

So today, I'm excited to tell you why the next Iron Outlaws Colorado book is called:

THE TOUCH WE SEEK.

Let’s talk about that word: touch.

There’s the kind that brushes skin — soft, electric, accidental. The kind that teases. Excites. Soothes.

But then there’s the kind that sees you.

The kind of touch that doesn’t just say I want you, but I accept you. I understand you. I’ve got you, exactly as you are.

And seek?

That’s not a swipe-right hunger.

It’s the ache in your chest. The thing that keeps you up at night. The desperate need to find and be found — and to finally find someone who gets you.

And that's what Catfish and Wren's story is about.

Not just s3x and bikes and revenge (though there’s plenty of that, too).

This is Catfish and Wren coming to terms with what they are to each other — and how far they’ll go to protect it.

Meet Wren and Catfish.

They couldn’t be more different.

Wren is a non-binary (AFAB) hacker who’s learned to survive by staying invisible. Catfish is a loyal, inked-up MC member who thought he knew how the rest of his life was going to go… until Wren blows his world wide open.

What starts as protection turns into obsession. What starts as a job becomes home. It’s about choosing each other—over and over again, even when it’s messy. Especially when it’s messy.
