Last chance to read the Problematic Audrey series on Kindle Unlimited

I decided to remove the books from KU (but not Kindle), starting 12/20. Sorry, but the reason is that, being on KU requires an exclusivity commitment from the author, and that stopped working out. The problem was that book 2 (which pokes fun at billionaires) was recently removed from Amazon searches and placements, in a mysterious and Kafkaesque situation that authors call being "dungeoned". I like Kindle and Amazon, but dungeoning is untenable. In early January, once the exclusivity period has ended (which I'll still honor, on my end), I plan to add at least one more store. The books will remain available for purchase on Kindle, just not be on KU. So, last chance to read on KU. And email me if you have a preference for stores.

Erik Svalbard Not sure if it was the billionaires angle (wonder who might have a problem with that 😀) or the word "Free" in the title that did it.

I've heard rumors that Amazon doesn't like that word in titles, but rumors are just that.

Michael Pyrite Thanks, good theory about "free".

Other books with "free" in the title still show up in Amazon searches. And Free Market Audrey was approved a few times, and was showing up in Amazon searches for a couple months.

Maybe every time someone at Amazon looks at a book, there's a chance it will get dungeoned.

It's not much of a free market (ahem), if any unaccountable random censor can quietly suppress a participant from the market.
