What did folks read in November that you loved?

I loved Cormac McCarthy's All the Pretty Horses , mainstream not SFF, a re-read. Marvelous.

Scout's Progress , part of Sharon Lee + Steve Miller's Liaden Universe, also a re-read. A delight. The friendships/found family warmed me through and through.
