A couple questions I was asked and my answer! Maybe you will ask me something, too?

how does one decide when a poem is finished, complete, and/or whole? Should the goal of a poem be any of those things?

And second: how does one decide what a poem is about or can be about? Is it more something you plan or discover as you write and go along?
