So I wrote and submitted a short story to a sci-fi magazine. It got rejected.

I wasn't surprised though. Not that I think my short story is horrible, it just maybe isn't up to the standards of what the magazine wants. Moreover, as I was looking more into the magazine and what they publish I don't quite think it was their kind of story to begin with.

Anywho, I'll be posting the whole thing here shortly. I might have to do it in two posts as I've never posted anything quite this long before.

Any feedback is welcome, but hopefully you just enjoy it.
