Review on Bookland: viaggiando tra i libri

"Today I talk about this book, the first of a series, written by the young italian Chiara Cilli in her first experience as a writer.
Start talking about the cover that is certainly related to the content of the book, as it depicts the dark heroine mounted on her hellish Winged Horse, but maybe for the presence of the red circle-like lightning to me is confused. If it were been female figure completely, I think I would have liked more.
The story tells of the adventures of Morwen, beautiful woman with a dark, mysterious past and a future to be decided, because she is the Maiden of Flames, Heir to the throne of the ninth realm of the Gods, the Underworld, and she is destined to reign over the eight other deities of the land of Penthànweald. Morwen, besides being a beautiful woman who is always accompanied by a giant Black Winged Horse, also possesses incredible magical powers who tries not to use it, however, has not yet decided what to do in her future, she doesn't know if she wants to become the Queen of the Underworld and so she retreats into the world of men. And the human world is threatened by one of the other Goddesses and Morwen, requested by the human King, begin her search, and then her adventure in the company of the handsome Prince who will win her hard heart.
The awakening of the Fire is insertable in a book fantasy genre, in fact there is a description of a fantasy land, there is a mission to accomplish and there are magical powers as well as a charismatic protagonist. In this first book a few things about the various characters are revealed, but many others are left open and Morwen remained a mystery until the end. She, the Heir to the throne of a Kingdom, which is hidden, who refuses to face her destiny, that trembles at the memory of a knight and who is incredibly attracted to a miserable human man.
So many things have yet to be revealed!
The author's style is nice and smooth though, while reading, I could not help but notice a few repetitions with regard to physical and magical qualities of the two protagonists and sometimes forced the use of adjectives.
I decided to give 2 stars to the book the author giving full confidence for the next volume!"
