Celebrating our FIRSTS Together

Today in this month is the FIRST,
and for new things we've all got a thirst.
So here is my news, fit to burst:

The third in this series I've nursed;
with killers and stalkers and cursed...

My bad guys are really the worst
And the twists in plot all get reversed.

So come, get immersed, dive head-first!

-------------***--------------------
P.S. Leopard Dreaming...
is my FIRST GRAND FINALE for a trilogy!
Yet I've met so many other award nominees,
you're all welcome to help celebrate YOUR FIRSTS with me too today...

by posting the FIRST SENTENCE of your FIRST something...
e.g. your first novel, first mystery, first fantasy...
just tell us:

How you FIRST heard/met me
+ What kind of FIRST is your book?
+YOUR FIRST LINE of that book
+YOUR BOOK'S NAME
+YOUR PEN NAME
+ a link for us to see/buy it
(and try to use atypical stores, if you can please,
to help support as many as possible, not just the big A... okay?
+ choose ones with FREE international post and/or DISCOUNTS if possible too please)

E.G:
Hi Anita,
I first met you in the mirror/on goodreads/
facebook/at the shop queuing for chocolate...

My FIRST GRAND FINALE to a trilogy:
Mira paced impatiently in the foggy alcove,
keeping near to the ghostly sandstone walls of the Drift Inn...

Valerie Lewis We first met when we both were members of the same on-line writing group. When I mentioned in 2006 that I was going to London to have a holiday with my brother you e-mailed me and asked for some photos if I could. We have been friends eversince even though the writing group seems to have disappeared.

First passage in my first book:
The Celtic Fabler. by Valerie Stewart Lewis.

As I sit here on the top of the hill, I look towards the mountains, black in their distance. I know that beyond them is the great river Afon Hafren across which is my country.
Once it was my country.

This book is only for sale through me at vallewis@aapt.net.au

A.A. Bell Hey, yeah!! What ever happened to them?

O, yeah, I remember... it was such a great chatgroup, that one of the unis joined up all their writing students and they all became lurkers, and then the originals got sick of posting and having all the others benefit without actually contributing, so the whole group crashed. sigh...

Cheryl Hi Anita,

Just happened to see this on Goodreads! I don't actually 'know'you, sorry to say. You sound like a fun person!

My very first romantic mystery's first line: Had I been in my right mind, I would never have attempted such a masquerade.

TREACHEROUS BEAUTIES by Cheryl B. Dale - Since my rights reverted, I've self-pubbed it. It's available through the regular channels like Amazon: http://tinyurl.com/9rs28sv and Barnes and Noble: http://tinyurl.com/8dyxhak and iTunes: http://tinyurl.com/9kftbsl and Smashwords: http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/...

Maybe more, but it's only $.99 everywhere!

Chester Hi, Anita,

We are right now meeting for the first time. Saw your link in my Goodreads update and clicked on it.

My first whodunit has this first line:

With the darkness and the music, all the laughter and chatter, no one noticed the crack in the concrete.

The title is DESIGNED TO KILL and the concrete is in a fifteenth-floor balcony of a high-rise condo where two people die. The book is available free for the Kindle Oct. 2 and 3 at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0012CZ63G
