Hi! Well, this is my new blog. It is going to be a (hopefully) weekly blog featuring not only news about me but cool stuff I have seen around, interesting news stories, links to fun videos - the works! O.K. I'm going to get going :D !

The News!
O.K. well, the news for this week is that I've put my prices back up again for my book. The reason being is that it is not selling any better so why going on to Amazon's 35% program at $0.99 when I might as well take the 70% option, even with this meaning I have to raise the price to $2.99? Actually, on the subject of the old Symbiot Awakening, I have a query - is my cover a bit rubbish? Should I try something else, something I painted or a photograph or just something else!
The second piece of news is that I have just sent my second book, the fantasy piece Seeker of the Silver Arms, off to two more agents so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the coming weeks :).

The Video!
I really, really love internet comedy and thought it would be fun to share the any videos I find especially awesome. This week I want to feature one I have loved for a long time and which makes me laugh no matter how many times I see it. Troopers: Coffee Run, is a really funny spoof of Star Wars by the Collegehumour guys and is a sublimely riduculous satire of both the problem of living on a Death Star and the dictatorial carryings on of the Empire, which wants what it wants no matter how impractical that is.

Something Cool 8)!
This is cool! A bicycle kick goal from about twenty metres out! This is a goal against England by the Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. It is simply sensational! I don't watch football but I saw this on the news and was stunned by it - really watch it and you will know why!

My Reading!

Well, I managed to finish Simon Scarrow's The Eagle and the Wolves this week and it was a delight! It was full of everything one could possibly want out of a historical military novel, history (Romans with and agaisnt Celts during the invasion of Britain), lots of fights and great banter. It really is Scarrow's sense of humour that makes the book a delight to read.

If anybody has a suggestion about how to improve this blog then please let me know - it is a work in progress and I would really appreciate the help :D !
