Goodreads is not a classroom where I have to prove that I know every detail of a book to get a grade. In fact I very rarely, if ever, will mention any specific details of a book in a review. As someone who likes to read, and likes to write, I like to be surprised, and surprise my readers, so the last thing I want to read in any review are all the details that would keep me from the edge of my seat and take away that shock value I so greatly enjoy. So when you read a review by me I'm going to go all Dragnet on you, as in "just the facts". Do I like it, do I hate it, and what in general made me feel that way. If I want to write a lot more than that, then I'll write another book. Which by the way I'll keep doing.
