The bomb attack in Boston yesterday was a terrible tragedy and my thoughts and prayers go out to those involved.
After tragic events in the past I have heard people say "Where were their angels when they needed them? Why did they let this happen?"
No one will ever answer those questions and satisfy everyone else by doing so.
I am not even going to try to answer them.Instead I would like to talk about what I did after I heard about the tragedy and perhaps you could do something similar.
Archangel Raphael is the angel in charge of healing and I asked him to be with all those involved who needed healing assistance. Like all the other angels Raphael can be with more person than once so he could help everyone.
Then I asked for the Guardian Angels of all those that were caught up in the tragedy to comfort them and protect them in their hour of need.
Another Archangel I could have called upon was Azrael. I could have asked him to bring comfort to the bereaved families and to help those who were helping them.
People may wonder where the angels were yesterday, but human angels were very active.
People rushed to help those who were injured. Others opened their doors and invited stranded runners in. Churches were opened so people could be helped. In the midst of tragedy light was still shining bright.
If you feel inclined to do so perhaps you could follow what I did. Remember anyone can call upon the angels no matter what religion they are. And at a time like this the angels will be only too happy to respond and help those in need.
No one will ever forget what happened yesterday, but my wish is that the angels will bring comfort and help all those involved.
