My guests on Wednesday’s show spoke to the heart of those who have gone through so much they wonder if they will ever have joy again. They reminded us of the price Jesus paid for our joy.

Our first guest, Pastor Bob Richardson, the Senior Pastor of Interbay Community Church in Tampa Florida., discussed his latest book “THE MANY SHADES OF JOY”.

Pastor Richardson shared with us that it was for our joy that Jesus hung, bled, and died. It was for our joy that He rose again on the third day. He told us “Yes, there will be sorrow, but we do not have to sorrow as those without hope. Our hope is eternal and nothing can rob the joy that is firmly rooted within our heart, and that even now our joy is growing within us”.


Our second guest, YOLANDA BALLARD, whose writing ministry “AT THE FATHER’S FEET” has blessed many, discussed her book “WE NEED TO START SOMEWHERE.

Yolanda shared encouraging words on how she overcame her battles so that she could become an instrument for God’s glory. She also discussed how she was able to maintain her joy when all around her was falling apart, and how the Lord blessed her in prayer to see others healed and delivered.
