Website Updates!
Dear Readers,
I've just added a bunch of cool new features to my website. Check it out!
New stuff:
* Progress bars! You can now see the progress of each book, through all the major steps before it hits press. The next book in each series has also been added to the front page, so you can tell at a glance how close it is to being finished.
* The Bookstore! To make life easier for people that already know they want the book and just want the links, I've added a simple bookstore page, that just collects the sales links in one place. I've also added a widget to the sidebar on your right that does the same thing.
* More obvious sample chapters! I had quite a few people complain that they couldn't find the sample chapter downloads easily enough, so I've added new buttons that you can't possibly miss. They're bright red and shiny!
* Clearer "Buy Here" buttons on The Survivors Book I: Summer and The Immortality Clause.
* Social media buttons! There are now buttons down the bottom of each page and blog post that allow you to easily share my posts on Facebook, Twitter, or Google+. Remember, every share helps me SO much - I really, really appreciate it.
* Series browsing! I've now added nice, shiny buttons on each page that allow you to scroll back and forth between the books in a series more easily than using the menu. I have no idea why I didn't think of that in the first place, but better late than never.
* The Links page has now been updated.
* Last but not least, I'm pleased to finally unveil the new cover art for The Immortality Clause! The kudos for this one go to one of the usual suspects, Alaïs Legrand, for the little piece of art in the centre of the front cover, and to a new face, Leah Suttle, for the new series template.
Right, that's all for now, readers. Enjoy the new features, while I get back to work on The Survivors Book II. As a head's up to everyone who is waiting anxiously, there will be a fundraiser for this book very soon, so start saving your pennies!
Kind regards,
V. L. Dreyer
