Erstwhile Vespasiennes at Philip's Square
The site of the urinal scene in Vespasiennes has been filled in since the 1980s -- apparently, precisely because of such scenes
! While waiting for the bus home to Nuns' Island two weeks ago, I took some pics of what's left of it -- and noshed on some maple sugar for sale at the kiosque on the site.
Obelisk at corner of stairs
The stairs were filled in to make a giant planter for a tree and flowers
Kiosk where you can buy all sorts of maple products
Dominion Square (Now Dorchester Square), where the lad was wandering looking for a "grown-up man"

Goodreads says that Vespasiennes is banned by Amazon?! Can that be right?! Is there any other way to read it?
