Found out a couple of days ago about a great idea, at least to my mind. I’ve always loved traveling by train and even have a train-based horror novel in the works. Amtrak has announced a writers residency program whereby a small group of writers will be selected to travel via train to a destination of their choosing (round trip, duh)in order to write and, well,promote the crap out of Amtrak in the process, presumably.
