Q: Why did Jesus have to die for our sins? Why couldn’t an all loving omnipotent god just forgive his creations and give them a do-over? I mean, if my kids told me they didn’t love me I wouldn’t lock them in a cage in the basement and light a fire under them. That would make me an asshole, right? This Yahweh character certainly is unpleasant.
