Okay, I'm finished...now what?

The story is finished, the editing is done, the publisher has sent the proof and I've okay-ed it. Now what? What do you do when all that is done and it's time to start a new story? Do you take a break? Do you jump right back in there and start the next book? Do you sit back and bask in your accomplishments? I'd like to know what others do.

Sharon Connell No one has any thoughts on this topic?

Marvin Well I for one do..
Congratulations on another accomplishment Sharon..
You know my skills are null..
Lol.. :)
But my first thought when I saw the question was..
Look for inspiration in unlikely places..
Example..
On Holiday..
Or a flight of slow moving geese..
In conjunction with prayerful reflection of course..
Kudo's to you on your new works..
Marvin.. :)

That you, Marvin, for your encouragement and vote of confidence. It means a lot. And I certainly will take your suggestions under advisement. It sounds like very good advice. Actually...I did the "slow moving geese" already, although they were a bunch of yakking seagulls instead. hee hee (Paths of Righteousness Paths of Righteousness by Sharon K. Connell

What I'd really like to know is, what do all of you veteran authors do. Being a fairly new author, it would be a great help to me to have some advice from someone who has been there more than three books into the field of writing.
