I won The Scarlet Wench in a giveaway and posted my review. It was delightful. I am an avid mystery fan and enjoy reading new authors.
Have you read Christopher Brookmyre's Jasmine Sharp/Catherine McLeod series? I've just finished book 2 and ordered book 3. Set in Scotland, very well plotted with two strong female protagonists from different spectrums. Also, From the Cradle, Louise Voss and Mark Edwards, first in a new series that looks to be a winner!
